Open source mobile bullying incident reporting system

A tool to help reduce bullying and violence in schools which enables students to report anonymously via text message and schools to respond quickly to incidences. FrontlineSMS:BullyProof software is available to all schools and organisations that have an existing policy on bullying. Simply attach a wireless Internet USB modem or compatible mobile phone. A FEATURE RICH SOLUTION

The FrontlineSMS:BullyProof software enables students to report incidences via SMS to a dedicated mobile number to central software which is on a single computer in the school. The software is managed by a team or single counsellor or teacher. The system receives to report and then auto forwards the message to the appropriate members of staff. Each year in the school has it's own keyword and this ensures the message goes to the members of staff responsible for the welfare of that student group. Read more.

Students are made aware of the FrontlineSMS:BullyProof system and dedicated mobile number via promotional materials and encouraged to store the number in their phone contacts.

The reporting student also receives an auto generated reply message confirming the report and is given information on where to call for additional support which is the kids helpline phone number and online support resources. Read more.
